FAQs

HAES, health at every size, operates around the notion of choosing health-promoting behaviors instead of zeroing in on body weight, shape or size. We encourage you to listen to your hunger and satiety cues, rather than prescribing a plan that focuses on specific meal times and weight control. At Nourish to Flourish, we support weight inclusivity and pride ourselves in being all-inclusive—offering a safe space, free of judgment, with respect and gentle care.

Yes. The main difference between HAES and traditional “diets” is that we do not focus on body weight, shape or size. Our team does not prescribe weight loss or create weight loss strategies. Instead, we focus on helping you make informative lifestyle choices to fuel your body and mind while being in alignment with any medical conditions.

Our dietitians are in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Sentara, and UnitedHealthcare. Some of our dietitians are in-network with Tricare, Medicare and Medicaid. With the exception of Rachel Marsiglio and Stephanie Walker, our dietitians are also in-network with Anthem BCBS. Prior to your appointment, we ask that you please verify with your insurance.
